The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman today called on Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his government-in-exile to leave the Saudi capital Riyadh as a step to rid themselves of what she described a house arrest. 

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is working to bring back relatives and aides of Yemen’s killed ex-president Ali Abdullah Saleh, said the Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman, describing them as criminals who should be brought to justice.

Peoples who always look forward to the future and struggle against tyranny and dictatorship have no choice but to adopt democracy, said the Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman today. 

The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman arrived today in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad to participate in an international festival on how to promote a new thinking to deal with radicalization in local universities and and the region.

The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman attacked the UAE's "malicious attempts" to take over and annex the Socotra archipelago exploiting the ongoing conflict in the country. 

The Houthi militia is one of the many misdeeds committed by the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh, stated the Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman, pointing out that this militia is destined to go away as Saleh has gone.  

According to Al Jazeera, at least 71 civilians were killed in Yemen in airstrikes carried out by the Saudi Arabia-led military coalition against the Iranian-backed Houthi militia over a 48-hour period.
