Accompanied with Iranian colleague Shirin Ebadi and on behalf of Nobel Women’s Initiative, Yemen’s human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman visited on Wednesday Syrian refugee camp in the Jordanian capital of Amman. 

Yemenis would reject any road map that doesn’t end up disbanding and disarming the fascist militia as well as exerting the influence of the state over every inch, human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has said.

In Amman, Jordan, Tawakkol Karman, along with her Iranian colleague Shirin Ebadi, representing the Nobel Women Initiative, visited and observed the situation of Syrian refugees.

To enjoy freedom and dignity, a heavy price has to be paid, human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has said.

Disbanding militias, withdrawing weapons and regaining power and control over all national territory are inevitable demands of Yemeni people, Nobel Laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has said. 

Yemen’s human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman reiterated her support for the legitimacy of President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi, stressing that he will remain a leader of Yemen until after the coup ends and the state is retaken.

Human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Tawakkol Karman has urged Yemenis of various affiliations and areas to retake the state that should impose its influence and sovereignty on the entire national territory and have the monopoly over the means of violence.
