The human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has said that freedom of expression liberated from any restrictions is the means by which people can achieve noble goals and adjectives represented by well-being, leadership and good governance. 

Yemen’s Nobel Laureate and human rights advocate Tawakkol Karman expressed the belief that the struggle to overthrow Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Sisi is Egyptian, national and humane duty.

Tawakkol Karman, the activist and the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate of 2011, has sharply attacked soldiers loyal to ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh. 

The human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Tawakkol Karman has strongly condemned the attack on the head of “Association of Faculty Members and their Assistants” at Sana'a University, Dr. Mohammed Al Dhahiri and his colleagues by the Iran-backed Houthi militia. 

Human rights activist Tawakkol Karman, the co-recipient of the 2011 Nobel Prize for Peace, reiterated full support for Yemen’s Saudi-backed exiled President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi in his battle to retake his legitimacy and Yemeni state taken over by the Iran-supported Houthi militia. 

The human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has visited Harvard University as a lecturer of honor by the Belfer Center Fellowship Program at John F. Kennedy School of Government.
