Human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Tawakkol Karman has urged Yemenis of various affiliations and areas to retake the state that should impose its influence and sovereignty on the entire national territory and have the monopoly over the means of violence.
Karman, in a post published on Facebook today, said with confidence that Yemenis will recapture their state and its institutions hijacked by the Iran-backed Houthi putschists allied with ousted president Saleh, stressing that the militias will be disbanded and disarmed so that the state will be the only body that has the right to have influence and control.
"We're going to build a state for all Yemenis according to outcomes we agreed upon in the national dialogue, either willingly or unwillingly," she emphasized.
Karman concluded by saying, “there would be neither peace, stability nor development without all of that."
