Human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Winner Tawakkol Karman has said that the Syrian people is in an open confrontation with Iran and Russia’s brutal occupation in Syria.

Yemeni human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack on a national army-affiliated camp in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden where scores were martyred and injured. 

The militias of Houthis and ousted president Ali Saleh have largely persisted in destroying childhood in Yemen with generous support of Iran, said human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman.

Yemen’s human rights advocate and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman today met India’s minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. V K Singh, in the Indian capital New Delhi. 

On 11 February 2011, it was imperative for Yemenis to lead a revolution against Saleh’s corrupt regime, and nobody has the right to hold the people accountable for consequences, said human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate. 

To take the first step on the road to peace, Yemenis should put an end to the coup and disband militias of Houthis and ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh whose crimes are too numerous to count, said Yemeni human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman.

Human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has launched a rarely scathing attack on ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh, describing him as “an accursed moron”.
