The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights advocate Tawakkol Karman has described Interior Minister Ahmed al-Meissari's announcement that all prisons in the liberated governorates are under the authority of the Attorney General and Prisons Service as a lie that harms Yemen’s legitimate authority.

Commenting on remarks by Yemen’s pro-government Minister of Transport, who stated that the Aden airport with respect to security is not under the control of the government, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman stressed that Aden airport has been in control of the UAE.

The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman said the Saudi-UAE-led battle of Hodeidah has begun with a lie and ended with a deception, warning Yemenis from becoming part of a battle of a UAE occupation and guardianship. 

The Nobel Peace laureate and activist Tawakkol Karman has predicted that the UAE would do all it could to expel Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his government members who finally returned to the interim capital of Aden after nearly a year of alleged house arrest in Riyadh.

The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and activist Tawakkol Karman said that Yemen’s legitimacy and President Hadi have lost their ability to make decisions in favor of a coalition that has deviated from its declared goals that have nothing to do with supporting or restoring the lost state in Yemen. 

The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has paid tribute to the people of Mahrah, a Yemeni governorate located some 1300 km east of the capital Sana’a, for rejecting the Saudi-UAE presence in their area.

The Nobel Peace laureate Tawakkol Karman said that the UN blacklist of the Saudi-UAE-led Arab coalition, Iranian-backed Houthi militia and al-Qaeda as children's rights violators is “a very fair and just classification”.
