Tawakkol Karman, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, issued an urgent humanitarian appeal for the relief of Syrian refugee camps, both inside Syria and abroad.

During a conference to support women, security, and peace in North Africa and the Middle East, held in Brussels, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman issued a call through Monte Carlo International Radio, urging Arab leaders to assume responsibility towards the Syrian people.

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman stated that the rule of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will end just as the rule of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh did.
