Education is another prime sector that pays the war bills, which has been going on in Yemen for years. Since the outbreak of the conflict in early 2015, 2,000 schools have become unqualified.

Schools were either damaged by aerial and ground bombardments or used as concentration points by armed groups. Some schools were homes to the displaced families. Due to this disruption, educational facilities reported about two million Yemenis out of school.
