The 2019 Nobel Women's Conference began today at the Monrovia Hall in Liberia and lasts for three days, with the Nobel Peace Prize winners Tawakkul Karman, Shirin Ebadi, Judy Williams, Rigoberta Manchu and Lema Gbagbo.

The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Tawakkol Karman has congratulated human rights activist Huda Al-Sarari on winning the 2019 Aurora Award in recognition of her role in defending human rights and her struggle against private prisons in Yemen.
