Karman: Emirati-Saudi Axis of Evil takes hostile attitude against change
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkul Karman said it was clear, even to the most stupid and foolish people, that the UAE's axis of evil adopted a hostile attitude against change, no matter who called and struggle for it, secular, Islamists, brotherhoods, or any other names.
"The Sudanese revolution has overthrown a regime that is attributed to the Islamists and classified as one of them," said Tawakkul Kerman, an official on Facebook. "The Communists played a key role in this revolution, but the Islamists, in general, led the revolution and lived all its details.”
Karman said: It was no secret to anyone, just as it is no secret how Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates faced the Sudanese revolution with the same conspiracy and aggression used against the Egyptian revolution and the rest of the Arab spring revolutions.
“On the other hand, it has become clearer that we, I mean all those who have kept the covenant and the promise of the Arab spring, have a moral stance towards the forces of change, regardless their backgrounds, and the advocates of freedom, whatever their identity. We support them without hesitation and stand with them unconditionally,” she said.
