Nobel laureate accuses UAE of orchestrating Sudanese civil war crimes in lavish manner
Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights fighter, Tawakkol Karman, has made a strong statement, placing the blame for Sudanese civil war crimes on the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to Karman, the UAE is not only responsible for planning these atrocities, but has also provided extensive financial resources and weaponry to support them in a lavish and seemingly unlimited manner. Karman's accusations suggest a direct involvement of the UAE in fueling the conflict in Sudan, raising serious concerns about the humanitarian situation and the widespread impact of these war crimes.
In a post on Facebook, Tawakkol Karman conveyed her apprehensions, predicting dire consequences from what she described as the UAE's reckless behavior. She outlined a scenario where the rogue state would persist in supporting the Janjaweed, causing havoc in Sudan and subjecting its people to relentless oppression, ultimately pushing them towards Iran. This support, she foresaw, would continue until the emergence of Sudanese versions of Hezbollah or Ansar Allah, with marches and rockets looming over the glass-made cities of the rogue state. At that point, not only would the support cease, but the rogue state would also seek redemption by providing extensive counter-support.
Karman underscored, "I firmly believe that this unfortunate scenario will persist as long as this rogue state continues to amass excessive wealth, displaying a lack of seriousness, and maintaining alliances with Western partners who lack strategic vision and moral commitment." The Nobel laureate's statements highlight the urgent need for international attention to the Sudanese situation and the role played by the UAE in perpetuating the conflict.
