In response to the specific needs voiced by the residents of Al-Muzaffar District in Taiz City, Tawakkol Karman, Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist, has announced her commitment to oversee the construction of an additional general education school.

On her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman expressed her delight in announcing a positive response to the community's requests for the establishment of an additional general education school. She acknowledged the pressing need to construct a secondary basic school, particularly in proximity to the Deaf and Mute School, which is currently nearing completion in Taiz City's Al-Muzaffar District.

Karman clarified that this initiative is part of the Balqis Educational Complex, with a comprehensive budget of seven hundred million riyals, expressing her pride and satisfaction with the undertaking.

Accompanying her announcement, she shared an image of the Deaf and Mute School, a project funded by the Tawakkol Karman Foundation, with completion anticipated in the weeks ahead.
