Tawakkol Karman condemns suspicious campaigns targeting February 11 Revolution
Nobel laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has condemned dubious media campaigns scapegoating the February 11 revolution for the actions of its adversaries in Yemen, viewing such campaigns as integral to the war against Yemen and its people.
In her inaugural post on the "Threads" platform, Tawakkol Karman has discerningly highlighted the persistent and dubious nature of media campaigns aimed at discrediting the February revolution and attributing the actions of Yemen's adversaries to it, asserting that these campaigns, which permeate both domestic and international spheres, serve as an intrinsic element of the ongoing war against Yemen and its populace.
Tawakkol Karman has emphasized that the February 11 revolution has yielded a peaceful trajectory with the potential for voting on a new constitution and conducting free elections, but this vision has been betrayed, retaliating against the Yemeni people's aspirations for freedom, dignity, justice, democracy, and the rule of law.
