The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has called on the governor of Marib Sultan Al-Aradah to intervene to release the activist Man’e Suleiman who has been arbitrarily detained for several months.
In a statement on her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman indicated that the security authorities in Marib have continued the months-long arbitrary detention against Man’e Suleiman against a backdrop of his views and beliefs.
She has described Suleiman’s arbitrary detention as a form of state terrorism, calling on everyone to condemn it.
