The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has congratulated the Christians around the world on the occasion of Easter.

In a congratulatory message shared on her official Facebook page, Tawakkol Karman wrote: “Happy Easter to the Christians of the world, and Happy New Year!”

For many Christians, including those from Eastern Orthodox traditions, Easter is the most important Christian holiday of all.
