At International Women's Day Leadership Summit, Nobel Laureate calls for standing shoulder to shoulder for equality and counter-terrorism and anti-hatred
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, called for both men and women to rally together for equality, freedom, justice, democracy, and counter-terrorism and anti-hatred.
In a keynote speech at the International Women's Day leadership summit in the United States of America, Tawakkol Karman encouraged both men and women to unite and work together in the call for equality, freedom, justice and democracy.
Karman added that men and women alike should stand united in confronting terrorism and hatred."
She emphasized that women are able to bring solutions, create initiatives, and stop tyrants from destroying nations.
She also urged women to always be in the forefront because doing so will make others trust women more and follow them.
