Nobel laureate: Popular struggle against Saudi-Emirati occupation and guardianship should be top priority
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has called for struggling against the coalition of Saudi Arabia and the UAE as a foreign occupation and guardianship whose “resistance should be in the center of the popular struggle.”
In a statement on her official Facebook page, Mrs. Karman wrote that Saudi Arabia and the UAE have dominated 80% of the territory of the Republic of Yemen, indicating that standing against this occupation and resisting foreign guardianship should not be a secondary matter.
