The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has mourned Belqees reporter Adeeb Al-Janani who was killed in the attacks on Yemen’s Aden airport on Wednesday.
Adeeb Al-Janani is one of journalists who carried out their work with great professionalism and dedication, and contributed along with his colleagues to the media message persistence even in the most difficult circumstances, the Nobel laureate wrote on Twitter.
Mrs. Karman confirmed that she will remember Al-Janani as a courageous and persistent journalist who remained faithful to journalism despite the fact that it has become a dangerous profession after the militias have caused death and devastation across the country.
Karman expressed her sincere condolences and sympathy to Adeeb's family, colleagues and friends, asking God to have mercy on him.
