The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, expressed her strong condemnation of the assassination of the Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh as an extrajudicial crime.
“I condemn assassination of Iranian scientist Fakhri Zadeh. It’s a war crime and an extrajudicial killing running counter to international charters and covenants,” Tawakkol Karman wrote
She added that her “political position opposing the Iranian regime doesn’t imply not to express this condemnation, as only principles are her compass that defines what the direction to take.”
