At least eight civilians, including four women and 3 children, were killed and 10 others, most of them children and women, were wounded today when artillery shelling by the Houthi militia hit a village in western Yemen, according to a statement by the Yemeni Army.
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has condemned the deadly attack on the village of Al-Qazah in Al-Durayhimi district, south of al-Hudaydah, describing it as a massacre added to the Houthi list of crimes against civilians in Yemen.
The Houthi militia has committed a new massacre against civilians in a village in south of al-Hudaydah, which has left dozens of dead and wounded, wrote Tawakkol Karman on her official Facebook page.
Mrs. Karman also added that the Houthi militia has proved to be the other side of the aggressive Saudi-Emirati coalition against Yemen, pointing out that both are racing to abuse and destroy our people.
She concluded by saying: I condemn this heinous attack as a crime against humanity.
