Nobel laureate mocks Saudi Arabia seeking global coalition for self-protection
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has mocked what she described “Saudi Arabia's efforts” towards “a global coalition to protect itself”, pointing out to the “dire” consequences resulting from Saudi violations in Yemen.
In a statement on her official Facebook page, Mrs. Karman said: “After the six-year war on Yemen under the pretext of restoring the legitimacy, Saudi Arabia is asking the UN Security Council to protect it from the Houthis.”
Addressing Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Karman added: “Shame on you! You have first offended Great Yemen, and now the consequences will certainly be dire.
