The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has condemned the assassination of the Secretary General of Yemeni Al-Haq Party, Hasan Zaid, in the capital Sanaa held by the Houthi coup militia.

In a statement on Facebook, Tawakkol Karman expressed deep condolences on the death of Hasan Zaid to his daughter Sukaina and to his family members, wishing speedy recovery of his second daughter Salma who has been injured in the incident. 

Mrs. Karman reiterated her firm and continuous position against the coup of the fascist Houthi militia, calling for overthrowing it.
