The Nobel Peace Prizewinning human rights activist, Tawakkol Karman, has congratulated the Yemeni Socialist Party on the occasion of the party’s 42nd anniversary.

Tawakkol Karman, on her official Facebook page, wrote to say: “I extend my warmest congratulations and compliments to the comrades of the Yemeni Socialist Party on the occasion of the party’s forty-second founding anniversary.”

Mrs. Karman emphasized that the Socialist Party along with its members are considered among the most important pioneers of the Yemeni national movement, and the most important makers of Yemen in recent history.
