The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman is scheduled to participate in the Halifax International Security Forum - 2020, set to be held from 20-23 November.

During the opening session, Tawakkol Karman is going to deliver a speech entitled "We and Democracy ... Our Division Our Fall".

300 participants from around the world, including political, military and human rights figures, will participate in the meeting hosted by the Canadian city of Halifax.

Halifax International Security Forum, established in 2009, convernes on every November in Halifax, northern Canada, with the aim to contribute to advancing a modern vision of security by promoting greater strategic cooperation among democracies.
