Tawakkol Karman: Saleh kills Yemen twice
The Nobel Peace Prize-winning human rights activist Tawakkol Karman said that ousted President Ali Abdullah Saleh had killed Yemen twice by assassinating Yemen’s
president in the late 1970s, al-Hamdi, and handing over Yemen to the Houthi militia after the coup against the internationally recognized government in September 2014.
"On the anniversary of the Houthi pandemic across Yemen, we remember that Ali Abdullah Saleh killed Yemen twice. First, he assassinated President Ibrahim al-Hamdi and his companions, making Yemen filled Yemen with failure and corruption. Then, he handed the country over to a fascist militia. This occasion reminds us of him inciting snipers to kill civilians, said Tawakkol Karman on her official Twitter account.
