Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman met today with Oman's Ambassador to Turkey Dr. Qassem al-Salhi, expressing her thanks for the Sultanate's efforts to achieve sustainable peace in Yemen.

According to a statement on Karman’s official Facebook account, the Nobel laureate discussed with the Omani ambassador issues of mutual interest between Yemen and Oman.  

During the visit to the headquarters of the Omani embassy in Ankara, Karman thanked “the brothers in Amman for their keenness on the stability, independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Yemen and for the Sultanate's efforts to achieve sustainable peace in Yemen.”
