The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has condemned in the strongest possible terms Saudi Arabia-led coalition for a deadly airstrike that killed a whole family in the district of Washha in Yemen’s Hajjah province.
Karman, on her Facebook page, said the coalition today added a new massacre to its long list of killed civilians in Yemen.
“I condemn this crime and all the killings of civilians in Yemen”, stated the Nobel Peace laureate.
At least two women and a child were killed and six others were wounded today in an air strike hit a house of Sheikh Mohammed Yahya al-Muqadi, a pro-government tribal leader, in the northern province of Hajjah.
It is noteworthy that other 14 civilians were killed and dozens were injured last week by Saudi-led air strikes on three houses in the Faj Attan area on the outskirts of Yemen’s militia-held capital, Sana’a.
