The Egyptian people deserves someone other than Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to be a president, stated the Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman, describing him as "a stupid clown".

"Al-Sisi has not only stripped Egypt of freedom, dignity and welfare opportunities, but also of regional and global presence and leadership," added Karman in statement on Facebook.

She pointed out that Egypt will remain absent from playing any role on the regional and international political scene as long as the current president remains in office.
