Yemen’s contemporary city of Aden is experiencing an insurgency planned, financed and sponsored by the UAE and Saudi blessing, stated the Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman. 

In a tweet posted recently, Karman indicated that the solution to the conflict in Yemen starts with putting an end to the UAE presence in the country and ending any legal cover for this presence.

Mrs. Karman has also called on Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to send a letter to the UN Secretary-General demanding that the United Arab Emirates immediately withdraws from Yemen.
