The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist has sent an urgent message to Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi demanding that he end the UAE presence in Yemen.
"If you do not ask the UAE to leave Yemen, you deserve everything that happens to you," tweeted Karman addressing President Hadi.
She indicated that Saudi-UAE intervention in Yemen exploit the legitimacy of the president exiled in Riyadh as a cover to carry out their own agenda across the country.
Clashes between the Yemeni government forces loyal to Yemen's president and UAE-backed militias have recently broken in the interim capital of Aden.
Armed groups set up by the UAE in Aden are seeking to overthrow the legitimate government and take control of southern Yemen, taking advantage of the chaos in Yemen since the Houthi-led coup in Sanaa in 2014.
The fighting is so far reported to have left at least 21 people dead.
