The Nobel Peace Prize laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman today said the military intervention led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE in Yemen has turned into an occupier. 

The Saudi-UAE aggressive coalition has taken advantage of the overthrow of the legitimate authority in Sana'a to carry out a very ugly occupation and have an uglier influence in Yemen, Karman stated in a statement on social media. 

She added: “But Yemenis of all stripes will band together to reject this occupation and aggression, and the occupier will be expelled and fall into disrepute.”
