Tawakkol Karman highly praises Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister's decision to resign from office
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman has highly praised Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service and Insurance, Abdul-Aziz Jubari, for his decision to resign from office.
In a statement posted on her Facebook account, Tawakkol Karman noted that Jubari has decided to announce his resignation as a result of the conspiracy by Saudi-UAE-led Arab coalition to undermine the internationally-recognized government.
“I pay tribute to Mrs. Abdul-Aziz Jubari and to whoever else would break the silence on the violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and the imposition of guardianship over the country,” Karman wrote on social media.
