Nobel laureate condemns massacre by UAE-Saudi coalition in Yemen
The human rights activist and Nobel Peace laureate, Tawakkol Karman, condemned the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates for committing what she described as a massacre in Taiz province, where at least 10 civilians have been killed.
"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the new massacre committed on Friday by the the UAE-Saudi coalition in Mauz’a district of Taiz province, where at least 10 civilians were killed and others injured,” Karman in a statement on social media.
She noted that this crime is added to the long list of crimes the coalition has committing against Yemeni people with premeditated and in cold blood for three years.
