The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman has stressed the need to continue the peaceful struggle until a democratic state of justice and the rule of law is established.
"The youth of the revolution courageously faced the madness and brutality of a corrupt and nepotism-based regime until it began cracking," said Tawakkol Karman in a statement on Facebook on the 7th anniversary of what is known as “cabinet’s massacre” committed by Saleh’s regime in 2011, pointing out that the collapse of the ex-regime led to the idea of deeply-rooted change.
Karman paid tribute to all the martyrs who were killed during the popular uprising across Yemen
She stressed that the revolution will continue until the whole dream of the state of well-being, freedom, justice and law comes true.
