Nobel laureate blames Iranian-backed Houthis for death of Dr. Ghurab
The Nobel Peace laureate and human rights activist Tawakkol Karman condemned the crime committed by the Houthi militia against Dr. Mohammed Ghurab.
"The fascist Houthi militia today informed the family of Dr. Mohammed Ghurab of his death, after two years of torture and forced disappearance in its detention centers," Karman said in a statement on her Facebook page.
She noted that this crime is added to “a long list of violations and crimes committed by the fascist group against our people.”
According to a source close to his family, the young man, Dr. Mohammed Mohammad Hazam Ghurab, died of cholera in the militia-held Political Security prison in Sanaa as informed on Saturday by the militia.
