Jamal Sultan: Karman's ideas about secularism are important and break the mold that wasted the energies of the Islamists
Editor-in-Chief of the Egyptian Al-Masrion newspaper, Jamal Sultan, praised the ideas put forward by the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman about a secular democratic state.
Sultan said in his account on Twitter: "I think the ideas of Tawakkol Karman on the political project are the most rational for the future of the Arab world, if we subject them to the partisan regards.”
Sultan stressed that the ideas put forward by Karman are important and break the old molds that proved to be detrimental to the energies of the Islamists in particular.
Sultan said that Tawakkol’s input deserves to be dealt with more seriousness and represents more open horizon for dialogue.
