Tawakkol Karman: I look forward to national reconciliation includes Islah, Houthis and all components
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman expressed her hope for a national reconciliation that includes the Islah Party, the Houthis and all Yemeni components.
Commenting on accusations by the UAE media against Islah of secret communication and understandings with the Houthis, Karman said that the UAE media talk about accusation that it fabricated that there is a secret dialogue and understandings with the Houthi. “If there is a dialogue and understandings, that will be a great honor for Islah, not against it,” Karman said.
“I look forward to a national reconciliation on a common word that would preserve Yemen's sovereignty and independence under a democratic republic,” Karman added.
“Every war in human history was followed with peace necessarily, there is no forever war.
“The war in Yemen is about to fold its pages," Karman said on her official Facebook page.
Karman explained that if the intentions are true, the solution is very easy.
She said: “A state that monopolizes weapons and takes it from everyone else and everyone participates in a national government that manages the remaining benefits and passes the country to the constitutional stage."
She pointed out that there are those who are lurking evil against Yemen and have determined not to allow the Yemenis to keep their homeland and exploiting the conflict and the sharp divisions to make Yemen like chaff in wind.
In another publication on Facebook, Tawakkol Karman confirmed that the Islah party and its activists in Aden are being targeted and assassinated by the UAE and its militias.
The assassination of activist Ali al-Dauzi in Aden was considered as one of the most heinous crimes of terrorism with political motivates.
