The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman congratulated Iraqi activist Nadia Murad and Congolese doctor Denis Mukwege on winning the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize.

"I congratulate both Iraqi activist Nadia Murad, the United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for the Survivors of Human Trafficking, and the Congolese doctor Denis Mukwege, who dedicated his life to combating sexual abuse against women by winning the Nobel Peace Prize for the year 2018," said Tawakkol Karman, on her official Facebook page. 

Karman said the Nobel Peace Prize for two people struggling against human trafficking, violations of human dignity, especially violations against women, recalls the suffering of many people around the world, which must stop now before tomorrow.
