The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman said that the province of Mahrah, which was hit by the typhoon for Albanians, unveiled thieves and invaders.

She said that Mahrah is a historical city and assisting it is the duty of the whole world, stressing that there is no excuse for those who have the decision and tighten the blockade. 

The cyclone Laban hit Mahrah yesterday and caused severe damages and the internationally recognized legitimate government announced Mahrah as disaster-stricken province.

Karman said: "Hurricane Laban hit the province of Mahrah, and the people are on rooftops appealing, but no response.”

Karman pointed out that President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi and his government are out of service, and the Saudi-UAE coalition, according to news, rejected Oman’s offer to send planes to Mahrah for relief aid.
