In her speech at the World Youth Summit ... Tawakkol Karman calls for the formation of an international commission of inquiry into the crime of hiding Jamal Khashoggi
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman has called for the formation of an international commission of inquiry into the crime of hiding Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
In a speech at the World Youth Summit in front of the headquarters of the International Court of Justice in Hague, Karman said that the crime of killing, torturing and cutting Khashoggi, according to the world's most respected and credible media outlets, should not be tolerated.
Karman expressed her thanks to the Dutch government for its previous efforts to form an international commission of inquiry to prosecute the perpetrators of the massacres against humanity in Yemen, pointing out that Yemen is suffering from unjust war launched by the Saudi-UAE coalition with relentless daily bombardment and a crushing blockade since four years and the destruction of the economy and people, and a fascist coup that toppled the Yemeni state.
