The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman expressed sorrow for the death of former Sudanese President Abdul Rahman Suwar al-Dahab, who died in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

"My condolences on the death of former Sudanese President Abdul Rahman Suwar al-Dahab after a life of goodness and serving the public interests," said Karman on her official Facebook page.

Karman explained that Suwar al-Dahab won his principles and his people and defeated the lust of power, he did not fight for it, and did not inherit his people a massive destruction.
