Karman urges King Salman to dismiss his son and bring him to trial
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate called on Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz to sack his son, the kingdom's crown prince, and put him on trial for killing the writer Jamal Khashoggi.
Karman said in her official account on "Twitter": Listen, Salman: Your son is the one who you should remove and put on trial if you are keen on the kingdom and on justice. He is the one who made the decision and directed the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi, not to be scapegoated by the perpetrators. No one will obey you tomorrow as long as you sacrifice Saudi for your son when it is revealed.
Karman said Saudi Arabia had officially admitted that Jamal Khashoggi had died inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul and said the cause of his death was a result of a fight inside the consulate.
"The lie about quarrel, which you said was the cause of death, is very ridiculous, a lie that is not knitted and incoherent, just as the way they lured, killed and dissected Jamal, it was a primitive and not kitted way.
Karman asked: if it is just an emergency quarrel, not planned, why do you dismiss Asiri and Al-Qahtani and none of them in the consulate?! Why did you deny that he was killed in the consulate and insisted that he left her after twenty minutes of entering? Then where is his body and why did you cut it and hid it, and why fifteen days of denial did you use all the potential of the state to hide the crime and hold others responsible, if it is an unintentional quarrel?!
Karman considered that the dismissal of the head of the intelligence service Ahmed Asiri and adviser Saud al-Qahtani on the background of the death of Khashoggi, because of their failure to supervise the implementation of the assassination of Khashoggi without scandals as directed by Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman and cost him to restructure the General Intelligence Service to ensure future assassinations.
