Karman: King Salman will not dismiss his son and will choose to go to hell
The Nobel Peace Prize winner Tawakkol Karman said that if Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz has to choose to keep his son Mohamed as Crown Prince or Saudi Arabia goes to hell, he will choose that Saudi Arabia goes to hell, asserting that this is the year of oppressors and tyrants.
Tawakkol Karman said on Twitter that Mohamed bin Salman is a “renegade” crown prince, and that he must not escape the punishment, pointing out that justice will remain absent and human conscience will be suffering until that happens [the punishment of Saudi Crown Prince].
On the position of senior clerics in Saudi Arabia towards the killing of media Jamal Khashoggi, Karman said: I have always believed that the Supreme Council of Scholars in Saudi Arabia lacks for mind and religion.
Karman added: Its appeasing, confusing and equivocating position towards the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi only increased my faith.
The Supreme Council of Scholars in the Kingdom issued a statement last Saturday confirming that the directives and decisions from King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, which came after the unfortunate incident that killed Jamal Khashoggi, come in accordance with the principles on which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established to achieve justice and equality in accordance with the Islamic law to punish for any excesses or omissions of whoever, regardless of the circumstances, and regardless of any considerations, according to the text of the statement.
