Karman, commenting on President Erdogan's speech on Khashoggi's death, said: "We need to answer questions, not ask them"
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Toukkul Karman addressed the speech of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who spoke today about the killing of Saudi media journalist Jamal Khashoggi in his consulate in Istanbul, calling for answering questions on Khashoggi.
"The conclusion of Erdogan's speech, not Jamal Khashoggi, was not killed as a result of a quarrel, as Saudi Arabia has said, but rather as a result of a plot that was planned in advance and all those involved should be prosecuted, starting with 18 accused and ending with the highest head," Tawakkol Karman said in her official account on Twitter.
"In any event, the case of Khashoggi is a matter of global public opinion," Karman said. "It is certain that Mohamed bin Salman is responsible and is destined to be brought to justice.
Karman stressed that President Erdogan is required to answer the questions in his next speech and not to ask them.
