The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman welcomed the German government's decision to stop arms exports to Saudi Arabia considered it as an important measure to help stop the war on Yemen.

Karman, through her official Twitter account, called on other arms exporters to Saudi Arabia, particularly the United States and Britain, to take a similar decision.
