Karman meets activists in Argentina
On the sidelines of her participation in a summit on human rights in Argentina, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman met with a number of human rights activists.
Karman spoke to the activists about the visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman to Argentina two days ago to attend the G-20 meeting.
"This wild arrogant has committed atrocities in Yemen and against his opponents in Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in a brutal way that the world has condemned," Tawakkol Karman said on her official Facebook page.
"I hoped that he would be tried here in Argentina and that a lawsuit against him would be by the Argentine Attorney General as a perpetrator of crimes against humanity," Karman said.
Karman hoped that this would happen in the future, so as not to spoil the proud of Argentina's brightest reputation in the world.
"I hope that this will happen," said Karman. "Argentine law allows such cases to be brought forward, and it is possible under this law to prosecute the perpetrators of massacres against humanity in the world, the first of which is Mohamed bin Salman,” she said.
