Tawakkol Karman supports 25 December rally and asserts that Bashir will either leave or be ousted
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate expressed her support for the Sudanese massive rally, which will come out today (December 25th) to the Presidential Palace to demand that Omer Hassan al-Bashir steps down immediately, saying the latter will either leave or be ousted.
Karman said in her official page on "Facebook": Good luck, we kiss the ground under your feet, we sacrifice for you, make al-Bashir leaves, and the military rule falls.”
"If the Sudanese people rise up, they do not come home before the change happens," Karman said. "It always happened.”
Karman said that al-Bashir, a murderer who is being prosecuted by the International Criminal Court, will take into his accounts the mass killings he used to do against his people, pointing out that the African Union will withdraw any support or protection for him and will find himself completely exposed to his people and to the world.
Karman said: "Al-Bashir should leave, so Sudan will be fine. He will leave or be ousted. This is the fate of the Sudanese people, they can do it.”
