The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman called on Omar al-Bashir to respond to the demands of his people and leave the power, and to avoid the fate of Gaddafi and Ali Saleh, on  one hand, and spare his people to make more sacrifices on the other hand.

"The Sudanese people have come out and will not return without his [al-Bashir] departure, whatever the cost," said Karman on Facebook.
