The human rights activist and Nobel Peace laureate Tawakkol Karman said the crime the horrendous terrorist attack at New Zealand mosques has refuted the lie that every terrorist is a Muslim, as always promoted by not only by extremists but also by politicians, research centers and universities in the West. 

In a statement on her official Facebook page, Mrs. Karman noted that the so-called fourth wave of terrorism was designated exclusively as Islamic ones, allegedly at the beginning of Khomeini's revolution until now. 

“New Zealand terrorist offence tells that terrorism is a product of hatred and extremism that belong to no religion,” Karman continued, adding that the crime has also proved that anyone involved in creating and fueling Islamophobia is a direct accomplice to terrorist crimes committed by the xenophobic and anti-Islamic racist right. 

The Nobel laureate has called upon “the world’s wise people to respond urgently and properly, otherwise humanity would experience what it has never seen throughout its long history.”
