Karman expressed her happiness with the release of three Saudi women activists
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman expressed her happiness with the release of three Saudi women activists after months of enforced disappearance, detention, torture and harassment.
"After months of hiding, torturing and harassing them, Saudi Arabia temporarily releases three women activists, Ruqayya al-Muharib, Azizah al-Yusuf and Iman al-Nafjan," Karman said on Twitter.
"Our greetings to you as fight for freedom and for victims of the systematic violence of the Saudi repressive regime. Freedom for all detainees, men and women, in Saudi prisons,” she said.
